Description:

Our client, a Canadian-based packaging solutions manufacturer based in Montreal, is looking for a Sales Representative to cover the Northeastern United States territory. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for business development with existing clients and will also have to prospect new clients in the region. Candidates can be based in any city in Eastern Canada or the North eastern USA and must be able to travel (50% of the time).

Main responsibilities:

  • Increase sales volume of existing accounts to meet and exceed targets
  • Develop and maintain professional and profitable relationships with clients
  • Prepare and submit submissions
  • Visit and solicit current and potential customers to promote the company's products
  • Ensure adequate follow-up in terms of customer satisfaction
  • Stay on top of industry trends and competitive activities
  • Perform sales analysis

Profile:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in sales in the United States
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Change adaptation abilities
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong ability to manage priorities
  • Results-oriented
  • Ability to travel in Canada and the United States

Compensation plan:

  • Base salary ($90-100K, according to experience) + commissions + expenses (OTE: $130-140K +++)
