Industrial Operations/Production Manager

Position Overview

Reporting to the General Director,  the Industrial Operations/Production Manager is responsible for directing, planning and controlling all activities on site. The ideal candidate is a natural business person who wants to collaborate and work as a team. This person will support management and participate in the decision making.

Responsibilities

* Collaborate with and report site information to the General Director to help management make critical decisions

* Enforce all company policies, including environmental, health and safety and all other site related policies

* Plan, delegate and follow-up on daily activities while maximizing production

* Optimize cost savings for all departments of the site
* Maintain good relationships with clients
* Provide support to the buyers
* Establish and ensure proper execution of division strategies
* Implement all relevant company production strategies
* Manage all maintenance plans
* Plan and coordinate maintenance shutdowns


Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have, but not limited to, the following qualifications:

* Natural business person

*Team worker

*Collaborative and organised

* Great leadership skills

* Significant experience in management, ideally  in an industrial environment

* Desire to learn the company field  

* The ability to learn in a fast pace environment

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English

* Engineering or administration degree, considered an asset
