Technical Sales Territory Account Manager

Our client is a market leader in the field of Safety, supplying a portfolio of products, engineered solutions and services to a range of sectors. They have recently secured exclusive access to a world-class manufacturer of instrumentation and measurement equipment and require an experienced technical sales professional to help manage the demand and client relationships.

We are searching for individuals with strong business acumen and related instrumentation sales experience to support the growth of a well-established customer base of both field and downtown clients, as well as develop prospective customers. Working closely with the entire solutions team to provide and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction while promoting and demonstrating product applications to drive demand is essential to achieve success. You will provide quality business solutions and industry expertise in conducting product education through technical presentations to showcase how the company’s solutions will meet the client's needs.

You will establish and maintain strong relationships with your customers communicating product information to present a value proposition and in turn, increase the company’s image. By staying aware of your competition and implementing strategic sales plans, you will continue to meet and exceed annual goals and grow market share.

 

Additionally, as the successful candidate you will have;

  • IET or MET education is preferred

  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience, specifically in process automation and instrumentation

  • A strong technical background and prior sales experience (inside sales experience is a consideration for this role and this could be your chance to step outside and develop these new skills)

  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), presentation skills and a history of long-term customer relationships.

  • Excellent negotiation, problem-solving and influencing skills

  • Experience working with Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC), end-users, OEMs, Sales, and strategic partners.

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in SalesForce CRM

  • Ability to work independently and prioritizes their time efficiently.
