Our client, a leader in the vaping industry is looking for an experienced Account Manager to join their team during this exciting period of growth. The ideal candidate will come with both passion and knowledge of the vaporizer industry.
The successful candidate will be a confident self-starter, a sales leader with a strong track record of success with key retailers and will have spent 3+ years in a similar role.
- Maintain and develop professional relationships with existing customers
- Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis
- Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key customer stakeholders
- Create a dynamic sales and merchandising plans
- Ensure that the product line is hitting objectives on sales volume
- Stay up to date on industry trends
- Effectively communicate new portfolio opportunities to the customer
- Understand key requirements & sales drivers; development of sales strategies across designated accounts
- Develop and implement strategic business plans to control costs & increase profitability; negotiates pricing & promotions effectively
- Post-Secondary degree preferred
- Outstanding customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent negotiation skills; strong organizational & planning skills
- Self-motivated, disciplined and determined, with a positive attitude and high energy level
- Strong attention to detail, customer service and follow-up skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Willing to travel frequently to visit customer/prospect sites with some travel across Province
- Valid Driver’s License
