Senior Outside Sales Representative – HVAC Team Lead

Our client is one of Canada’s best-established distributors of HVAC, Plumbing and Hydronics products for the commercial, industrial and construction markets; and is proud to be a first choice for customers and employees alike. They are currently looking for a highly motivated and proactive Senior Outside Sales Representative to join their team in the Lower Mainland. This is an outstanding ‘team lead’ opportunity for a sale professional looking to transition into a Sales Management position.

We are searching for an individual who not only processes exceptional sale fortitude and success within the HVAC and/or Plumbing sector but also a professional with leadership skills and qualities who can work closely with the Inside and Outside Sales team members within the BC region to mentor their professional growth.  In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining their own ‘book of business’, which involved maintaining sound relationships with an active account base, as well, the responsibility to aggressively pursue new opportunities to continuously build out the HVAC department.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in Business and/or Marketing is an asset
  • Minimum 7+ years of successful sales experience within the Wholesale Distribution Sales in the BC market
  • Knowledge of HVAC and/or plumbing industry products is crucial
  • Ability to train, coach and mentor other sales team members – this is a gateway role to Sales Leadership
  • Must have a sense of urgency, drive, and ambition
  • Ability to work autonomously yet still collaborate within a team
  • Excellent communication and follow up skills
