Our client, is a specialty equipment dealership. With multiple locations and decades of success, they are seeking to add an executive to the team in their Grande Prairie Location. Due to this expansion, they have engaged Christopher Goodrick from Lock Search Group to find their new Vice President of Operations.
As a key member of the executive team, reporting directly to the President, you will be responsible for leadership of the operations from end to end. Priorities include strategic planning, and execution of those plans to establish a safe, productive and profitable operation. This will include the oversight of all operational functions including, Sales and Marketing, Inventory Management, Service, Planning, Quality, and Safety. You will systemize processes and communications for best efficiency. You will oversee the development of best practices and standardization. You will set up, measure, and adjust for maximum operational excellence.
TO FIT THE ROLE:
We are seeking a positive and hard working professional with leadership experience who brings expertise in the oil and gas, forestry, and construction sectors of the Peace Country.
Specifically the successful candidate will have:
• Relevant Business and/or technical education
• 10 plus year’s management in the O&G service sector
• Experience leading leaders
• A proven record of team management, financial budgeting and goal attainment
• Excellence in influencing and presenting with internal and external stake holders
• The suitable candidate must be organized, well spoken and energetic
